Rep. Acree has a unique background and experience in law, business, & healthcare. She continues to be an active leader throughout her community and advocate for the disabled. Cindy is a stroke and epilepsy survivor and former board chairman of the largest neuroscience center in the region. She’s considered one of the state’s lead healthcare experts. As a small-business owner, educator and mother she understands the issues impacting job growth and families.

*I signed petition to place personhood amendment on ballot so citizens could make the choice. The legislature never passed anything relating to this initiative
*Decisions about health care should be between a patient and doctor.  The government and insurance companies shouldn’t be the determiner of medical necessity including birth control and in vitro fertilization

I voted against additional taxes on business that would kill jobs and hurt families– *HB10-1189 & *HB10-1200
I voted against measures that would limit families ability to use pay day loans.–*HB10-1351
I voted against making government bigger–*HB10-1333

-Investigated the Governors Energy Office and found $9,000,000 in discrepancies
-Recognized leader in Colorado Legislature on Health Care

-Former Board Member of Spalding Hospital  As a co-founding member of the Spalding Community Foundation and member of Board of Directors, Cindy established a rehabilitative driving project designed to assist stroke and brain injury survivors in returning to driving safely
-Founder and President of Protekmark LLC was a consulting firm that specializes in organizational effectiveness combining performance based strategies for growth through effective internal operations, value based community outreach and a practical application of good government relations
