- Speaker Designee Names Appointments to Legislative Audit And Capitol Development Committees
Speaker Designee Frank McNulty, R-Highlands Ranch, today made appointments to two key legislative committees that oversee government efficiency and the allocation of taxpayer dollars.
McNulty says that these appointments reflect the priority House Republicans have placed on transparency and efficiency in state government.
Serving on the Legislative Audit Committee will be Rep. Cindy Acree, R-Aurora. As a member of the Legislative Audit Committee, Rep. Acree will oversee audits of state agencies and state government performance and function.
“Cindy Acree will serve as a strong voice for government efficiency and an advocate for the wise use of taxpayer dollars,” McNulty said. “As the watchdog over state agencies, the Audit Committee is an important tool for making government accountable to the people. I am certain that Rep. Acree’s attention for detail and recognized talent for problem solving will serve Colorado taxpayers well on this important committee.”
